The Coronation, Saturday 20th June

We had a good morning out at the HMS Coronation, some having more success at finding cannon and anchors than others...  Despite sinking in 1691, there are still a number of anchors and cannon lying on the seabed.  Despite the visibility we saw a number of anchors and a few cannon, helpfully marked by the Coronation Wreck project team.  If you would like to dive this wreck please see the information on the Coronation Wreck Project site at http://www.coronationwreck.co.uk/

In the afternoon some of us went and did a second dive just outside the breakwater out of the way of the boat traffic entering The Sound.  The visibility here was surprisingly good, Dave and I had a nice exploration through the kelp reefs and Phil took Fin on his first boat dive.
