After a dive in what looked like pea soup off Budleigh Salterton last Friday, I was ever so pleased to see that Babbacombe was gin-clear when Anne and I went in. Clint also dived, with one of the latest intake of new Ocean Divers. He seemed to have loved it, despite being in a borrowed wetsuit that wouldn't stay zipped up, in 13 degree water. The spider crabs are still a bit torpid and slow-moving. Plenty of juvenile fish around, a couple of lobsters waved their claws at us, a cat-shark saw us before we saw him and a crayfish looked suspiciously at us. 'Twas so nice in fact that after we'd eaten our chips, we went and done it all again!
